Wowie, what a semester. From online classes to an excessive amount of time on Zoom, some people would question my decision to start an internship now, of all times. Luckily for me, working at Transistor has been absolutely lovely.
I recall my first day, chatting with everyone in the office. When asked, “What is the key to succeeding here at Transistor?” Everyone replied, “Ask stupid questions!” And ask stupid questions I have. Entering a completely new field, like SEO, has the potential to be incredibly challenging. Luckily, the team at Transistor have been more than helpful. They have always been there to help with any issue I have had.
One of my favorite parts of this position is working with a wide variety of clients, every day is something different. One day you could be researching search terms for million dollar RV’s (oops, I mean coaches) and the next you would be reading about enterprise level cloud infrastructure. It really gives a window into tons of different industries. It’s been super interesting learning to curate content for these different clients. Part of that is figuring out: A) how people are searching for specific things and B) what Google thinks these searches mean. There’s something incredibly rewarding about getting clients better connected with their customers.
Overall, I really can’t thank the Transistor team enough for the past couple months. I can’t wait to see what 2022 holds, and I am super grateful to be a part of this team.
