The Transistor team has grown by one more! 2021 has been a whirlwind year so far and we are excited to announce that we have added another face to the team. Alison Rueter (you can call her Ali) is joining Transistor as an SEM Analyst.
Ali has a Bachelor’s degree in Interactive Web Management and she is a Certified Full Stack Developer. Prior to joining Transistor, Ali was managing internal digital efforts for a retailer in Southeastern Wisconsin. Her combined understanding of marketing, websites and coding make her the perfect fit to our team. Ali will help us push forward our expertise in technical search engine optimization and support our current clients to make their websites properly set up for high search performance. We see a lot of promise in Ali and look forward to getting her connected with our clients.

As we do with all new hires, I’ve asked Ali a few questions to help everyone get to know her a little better. Make sure to connect with Ali on LinkedIn and send her a note to say Congrats!
If you could have a super power, what would it be and why?
Flying. I could go more places, faster.
What’s one hill you’re willing to die on? Maybe an unpopular opinion that you will undoubtedly stand behind.
I don’t like any condiments – food should be eaten as is rather than covered in another sauce. I don’t like ranch, ketchup or any of those. The only condiment I’ll use occasionally is BBQ sauce.
What is one food that you couldn’t live without?
Pizza. All the pizza. I could eat pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
What do you love to do when you’re not at work?
I have a new puppy, so I love to soak up puppy snuggles. I’m also a big fan of traveling and being outdoors. The best is when I can travel with the puppy!
What is the best show on Netflix/TV?
New Girl is my favorite go to show but I’ve recently started to watch Grace and Frankie. I didn’t think I’d like it, but it’s actually really funny!
If you could travel anywhere tomorrow with no monetary restrictions, where would you go and why?
Probably Iceland. It looks really cool and seems to have a lot of opportunities to hike and explore the outdoors.
What excites you the most about working at Transistor?
Learning all the different aspects of SEO. There are so many different ways to see SEO and I’m excited to learn all the unique ways to approach it.
Is there anything else we should know about Ali?
I won a national championship for Volleyball when I was 14. I played volleyball so much when I was a kid that I have no desire to play anymore. I’ve also never been out of the country, but that’s on the list of things to do!
