Summer Intern Highlight 2022

Jun 28, 2022News & Whatnot

We love spreading knowledge about all things SEO and PPC with the next generation of marketers. One way we do this is with our internship program, which brings college students into the team and trains them on the basics of search marketing and gets them hands-on experience with search optimization. This summer we are welcoming the newest Transistor Intern, Andrea!

Andrea is a student at Cornell University pursuing her BA in Economics and Information Science. She is interested in the world of financial technology and is looking forward to merging her interests and experience into the world of search marketing.

Claire Popp - SEO

We’ve asked Andrea a few questions to help everyone get to know her a little better. Make sure to connect with Andrea on LinkedIn and send her a note to say Congrats!

If you could have a super power, what would it be and why?
Time travel! Going back in time to different historical eras would be super fun, or to skip forward boring parts of the day.

What’s one hill you’re willing to die on?
Seasoning can make or break a dish.

What is one food that you couldn’t live without?
Pasta – it’s so versatile and can be a simple or elaborate dish.

What do you love to do when you’re not at work?
I love spending time outdoors with friends and family and unwinding and watching a good movie.

What is the best show on Netflix/TV?
The Queen’s Gambit

If you could travel anywhere tomorrow with no monetary restrictions, where would you go and why?
I would love to go to France. The food looks amazing and there’s tons of cities and towns to explore.

What excites you the most about working at Transistor?
The biggest thing is learning all about search marketing and different aspects of it, such as SEO. It’s a great combination of my interests in tech and business.

Is there anything else we should know about Andrea?
I’ve always wanted to learn more languages but all I’ve gotten around to is Spanish. Maybe one day I’ll tackle French for a trip to France!
